When Transportable isn’t an option, we bring Exeter to you.
At Exeter Homes, we believe off-site construction is the smartest way to build, with faster timeframes, greater quality control, and less disruption on your land. That’s why transportable homes are our first choice.
However, we know that not every site or project can suit a transportable.
Sometimes, finance requirements, access issues, or specific design considerations mean a home needs to be built on-site. In these cases, we can bring the same Exeter quality and processes directly to your section.
People sometimes think that by building on-site, they’ve “saved” the transport cost, but in reality, the opposite is usually true. On-site builds require more resources, not fewer. Extra project management, additional travel and freight, scaffolding, and tighter site coordination often mean that any potential savings are quickly offset. That’s why there are no financial advantages to choosing an on-site build over a transportable in fact, as it is often more complex and demanding to manage, it can sometimes cost slightly more.
But when it’s the only practical option, you can trust that we’ll manage the entire process with the same care, efficiency, and attention to detail that define every Exeter home.
Our goal is always to give you the best outcome for your site, your needs, and your lifestyle, whether that means delivering a transportable home from our yard or building it on your land when transportable simply isn’t an option.
